Reutlingen lies in the heart of
one of the most beautiful regions of the Swabian Alb. It is the most
recently developed city in the state of Baden-Württemberg. Historic
buildings and parts of the medieval fortifications still provide evidence
today of the town's important past. A short walk through the old part of
Reutlingen's town centre is worthwhile at any time of year. Countless

Today Reutlingen is a modern
service town and industrial location and is the largest economic centre in
the south of Württemberg, providing 50,000 jobs.
